WORD OF FAITH CHRISTIAN CENTRE, KANO was founded in 1987 by Rev. Kola Ewuosho. Then a graduate of Bible College, he had a definite impression that God will have him start a work in Kano-Nigeria. Like Abraham, he left family and friends to sojourn in a land  he did not know, just to fulfill the call of God.

Word of Faith Christian Centre is the result of obedience to God's call. Located in Kano City, a predominantly Moslem City in Northern Nigeria. Word of Faith Christian Centre is an Apostolic Centre for World Outreach. With over 600 members, the church has the mandate to take Kano City and the nations of the earth for our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

The Senior Pastor of Word of Faith Christian Centre is Rev. Funke Ewuosho, a woman of God with definite Anointing and call of God. Trained as a lawyer, she left law practice to give full attention to the call of God. A gifted administrator and teacher, she is bringing the church into the fullness of God's plans and purpose. She pastors, along with a team of Four (4) able pastors: Pastor Wole, Pastor Bayo, Pastor Brown and Pastor Bisi.

Word of Faith Christian Centre Kano is fully equipped to meet the needs of everyone. The church has 13 departments which are designed to provide avenues of ministry to the committed in the church. In addition to the departments, the church has fellowships which minister to the needs of every category of person that comes to the church.

Our fellowships are Kings Fellowship, Virtuous Women's Fellowship, Couples Fellowship, Singles Fellowship, Wise Corpers Fellowship.
